For Adults: 

1. What practical prayer practices have helped you, or do you think they would help enhance and strengthen your prayer life? (prayer walks, prayer lists, prayer journal, prayers of others, praying the psalms, the Lord’s Prayer, etc….)  

2. How can we implement the habit of prayer into our daily lives to ensure we are growing in grace? What challenges do you face in maintaining a prayer habit, and how can you overcome those obstacles?

 

3. What was Jesus’ regular pattern of prayer? Develop a portrait of his prayer life. 

 

4. Read Matthew 26:36-46. What sticks out to you? What do you think it means to 'watch and pray' just like Jesus taught?

For Kids: 

• What does it mean to pray?

• Learn together the Lord’s Prayer. 

• Have a child read or quote each line from the Lord’s prayer. Explain what each line means to communicate.
